Though charcoal is combustible it would be rather problematic to
burn it with the help of only matches, a lighter or a sheet of paper.
Of course, one can try to make a fire with the help of dry slivers
but they are not always at hand for a civilized tourist. And you
would hardly enjoy to spending precious time searching for wood.
We would like to offer you two methods that would allow you to burn
the coal even on an absolutely desert coast or in the fireplace
of a snowbound country house.
First method:
Using
bricks to make a fire.
1. Split off the tablet 3-4 bricks. (Picture №1)
2. Fire the bricks along the break line (Picture №2) and let them
burn up (Picture №3).
3. Put the burning bricks on the grill or fireplace. (Picture №4)
4. Pour on top of bricks a small amount of charcoal or charcoal
briquettes. (Picture №5)
5. Add charcoal or charcoal briquettes during the process of burning
to obtain required heat.
Note: instead of bricks you can use dry spirit to make a fire.
Second method: Using
ignition fluid to make a fire.
1. Pour a thin coat of charcoal or charcoal briquettes in barbecue
or fireplace (Picture №6).
2. Wet charcoal or charcoal briquettes with ignition fluid and let
them soak for 2-3 minutes.
3. Carefully light a fire and add charcoal or charcoal briquettes
on burning to obtain required heat.
Caution!
· Do not let children use bricks and other means for burning!
· Store charcoal, charcoal briquettes and other fuel away from heat
and inflammable materials.
· To avoid injuries never add ignition fluid to a burning fire.
